about
[EN] Otoño -Autumn- was conceived during a live show of my current impro-visual tour #dada (more about that in juancarrizo.com/dada). The core melody of the song was improvised during a live session and then, due to the great audience response, I decided to develop and produce it to be part of my next EP featuring songs born during that tour.
The song proposes a two directions journey. One through the melody and the arrangements that are evolving during the song, and the other, more sonic than musical due to the huge immersive mix full of delays, reverbs and real time processing.
[ES] Otoño nació durante una presentación en vivo de dada, el espectáculo audiovisual con el que estoy girando (mas sobre eso acá juancarrizo.com/dada). La melodía de la canción surgió durante una de las improvisaciones de la función. Debido a la buena respuesta del publico, decidí desarrollar esa melodía y producir esta canción para que forme parte de mi próximo disco.
El tema propone un viaje en dos direcciones: uno a través de la melodía y los arreglos que la van desarrollando, y el otro, mas sónico, inspirado por el sonido inmersivo de la mezcla y las grandes reverbs, delay y procesamientos en tiempo real.
